- I would love to have an ecommerce website like many others, but I have no idea what to sell or where to find suppliers - How can you help?
We have been dealing with suppliers and products for a long time, and we know the best sources to find information on suppliers. We can also give you ideas on what type of products to sell, within what industry, and what kind of profit-margins to expect.
- What Is Dropshipping? I've heard that it allows me to Not keep any products in stock. Is it a good idea??
Dropshipping is used by many small businesses, and is a great idea. Let's say for example that you sell over 1000 products on your site, you wouldn't want to pay for all of that to keep in your garage right?
So, you find a dropshipper (we can help you there), and they usually have a large warehouse and stock the products themselves. When a customer purchases from your website, you contact the supplier and give them the information of your customer and the product, and the supplier sends the product direct to your client.
If you were to sell a product on your website for £60 (rrp) to Mr Smith; you would contact your supplier and give them Mr Smiths' address and the product he'd like, as well as paying the supplier the trade price (e.g. £30); and you keep the £30 as profit for being the middle-man...you don't even have to touch the stock you sell!
